This set of four illustrated handouts is designed to help children gently express what they need after someone in their life has died. Each checklist-style sheet begins with a different “Dear…” heading, Dear Me, Dear Parent, Dear Friend, and Dear Teacher, allowing children to share their grief in age-appropriate, empowering ways.
Developed by Lionheart, these handouts support children in communicating with the people around them, whether at home, school, or among friends. Use them as a tool to start important conversations, reduce confusion, and encourage healthy connection during difficult times.
